2019 - 2020 Waterview Wolves Info

Coach J’s Vision Statement

My vision is to create a competitive atmosphere where passion, dedication, and work ethic is evident from the weight room to court training. Passion includes, the ability to listen, be coachable and execute. Dedication includes coming to workouts to develop higher verticals and quicker movements, making time for extra reps and communicating with coaches to see personal and team improvement. Work ethic is based on the desire to be the best in the gym. This includes doing the correct skills when the coach is not looking, being a positive leader, and holding your teammates and coaches to a high standard. With all these combined, there is no reason we cannot be great.

Coach J’s Closing Statement

I am extremely excited about this opportunity as Director and Leader of the Waterview Wolves. As a person that has dedicated my life to the sport it is my passion to give back all the knowledge and skill that I have learned during my student-athlete career. I truly pride myself as a very organized and motivated worker. I played Middle Blocker and Right Side at Texas State University and was honored with the award of All-American. I could not have done this without amazing coaches on the court and in the weightroom. One of the major keys that brought me to Waterview is the belief in a Full Training Program. This includes, court skills, weights and conditioning. One of the talents that I was able to enhance most during my college career was my vertical and approach jump. Having a full strength staff at the Club Level is something that sets us apart and can take our athletes to the next level. I cannot wait to get started building relationships and helping our athletes achieve their volleyball goals.
